Marthas Vineyard Air Traffic Control Tower Fire Life Safety Upgrade
This project entailed the installation of a completely new fire alarm/safety system including complete firestopping of the entire tower as well as the installation of a fire-rated ceiling at the top of the central stairwell.

Hanscom AFB Exterior Stair Replacement
This requirement involved the demolition of an existing slope side stair set and the installation of new pre-cast concrete stairs in its place. This project required extensive sub-surface soil testing and site prep. The project was completed in January neccesitating the placement of concrete piers in below-freezing weather.

This project was for the conversion of a one-story office building into a dormitory for inpatient treatment. The total gut rehab included all new electrical -plumbing-sprinkler systems as well as new bathrooms/insulation/paint/flooring etc.

Vanguard Construction was tasked with the repainting of this research radar tower at a remote site in sudbury ma. The work included the ultra high pressure water blasting of the existing structure to remove existing rust and paint and the refinishing of the prepared structure with a state of the art surface restoration coating.

Major rehab/renovation of the entire building was the scope of this project. New windows/ceilings/paint/electrical/fire alarm/sprinkler/hvac systems were installed as well as all appurtenant finishes. A new aluminum three story exterior stair case was a prominent feature of the renovation.

United States Coast Guard Station Chatham MA Repaint
The complete painting of Station Chatham was the scope of this project. Extensive dry rot of siding, framing was discovered in process which required major repairs to the structure of the building. Additionally, historically correct cornices at the gable ends of the building were removed and replaced to the satisfaction of the Town of Chatham Historical Association.

Construction of a structural steel entry foyer was the main component of this contract. Additional work included the installation of new perimeter drainage systems for the building structure, electrical and HVAC modifications, patio stonework, radiant floor heating system and many other small tasks.
